About This Site

I built this website (though not from scratch), and am maintaining and hosting it myself on a small computer.

The site is built with Jekyll, a static site generator that turns Markdown files and HTML templates into a full website.

It is also built on the framework of Long Haul, a minimal, long-form Jekyll theme designed by Brian Maier Jr. Howeever, I’ve already made some changes to the Long Haul template. I plan to make more reduce the number of CSS classes and extraneous <div>s, in the spirit of Heydon Pickering’s “CSS Inheritance, The Cascade And Global Scope”.
